NOTES TO PARENTS

  • Morning Bells Academy (High School) has embarked on a journey to provide a holistic development, embracing 21st Century skills. Our school promotes inclusive education and Mentoring the students to become responsible citizens of their motherland.
  • The medium of instruction is English, with Bengali and Hindi as compulsory subjects.
  • Special attention is placed on upholding high standards of morality and discipline within the school. Guardians are encouraged to collaborate with the school authorities by ensuring their wards maintain regular attendance, wear the prescribed uniform properly, keep their personal belongings neat and tidy, complete their home assignments diligently and uphold punctuality.
  • All essential information and notices are posted on Google Classroom to keep parents and students informed about necessary events and updates.
  • Periodical reports will keep parents informed about their child’s progress. These reports must be signed by the parents and returned promptly.
  • Students are accountable to the school authorities for their conduct both within and beyond the school premises. Any form of misbehavior in public places and inappropriate conduct may lead to stringent disciplinary actions. Ground of dismissal includes irregular attendance, negligence, objectionable moral behaviour, actions disruptive to the school’s environment, consistent academic inadequacy, and most importantly, discourtesy, disrespect and disobedience toward teachers and staff. Each of these is considered sufficient cause for disciplinary action.

Students must adhere to the rules and regulations and maintain the decorum decided by the school.

General Guidelines

  • Students of the Pre-Nursery and Nursery sections must bring labeled school bags and water bottles.
  • Students must properly cover their books using the school- provided cover, featuring the school logo.
  • Students must use only the copies provided by the school: other copies will not be permitted.
  • Any kind of fancy school stationery is prohibited. If brought, students will be solely responsible and those belongings will be confiscated.
  • Books and copies must be sent regularly as per the timetable.
  • Students must carry their school diaries daily.

Uniform Guidelines

  • Students should wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days, including special occasions unless otherwise instructed.
  • Uniforms must be clean, well-ironed, and properly worn. Torn or faded uniforms are not acceptable.
  • Students must wear the designated school shoes and socks.
  • Fancy accessories, makeup, and jewelry are strictly prohibited.
  • During winter, students must wear the school-approved Sweater or blazer. No other colored jackets or sweaters are allowed.
  • On designated sports days or on Thursdays, students must wear their respective sports/house uniforms as per the school schedule.
  • The students must wear their identity cards while on campus.
  • Length of the skirt should be up to knee.

Arrival/Departure Guidelines

  • The child must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled school timing.
  • At departure, children will be handed over only to their parents/guardians and not to any other relative.
  • Guardians must present the school-issued identity card for verification during pick-up.
  • Students will not be released during school hours, except in the case of medical emergency.
  • Students should address their teachers and all the staff with due respect and politeness. They should express fellow- feeling and compassion to their companions.
  • Parents are advised to carefully go through every Notice/Circular issued by the school via diary, Google Classroom as well as Campus Care. All advised/announced appointed dates/time must be adhered to.
  • TheSchool’sReceptionDeskisavailablefrom10amto2 pm to meet all the queries. Please do not rely upon Clarifications given by any other source.
  • Please do not send children to school in the case of a medical emergency, even on exam days.
  • Guardians must provide areas on for their child’s absence either through the school diary or a written application.
  • Any unauthorized absence exceeding fifteen calendar days will result in the child’s name being struck off.

Hygiene Guidelines

  • Unhealthy food items should be avoided, including cut fruits, junk food, and other perishable or processed items.
  • Guardians are requested to pack sufficient tiffin /lunch for their children, as they will not be allowed to feed them during breaks.
  • Students must bring a napkin or handkerchief daily to place under their lunch box, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene on their desk.

Examination Guidelines:

  • No pen paper test is there for the students from Pre-Primary Wing (Tiny-Tots to KG) till Class II, according to CBSE guidelines.
  • Promotion depends on the child’s performance throughout the year and on marks scored in Examination.
  • Promotion is decided at the teachers’ meeting presided over by the principal. Results are final and will not be reconsidered.
  • The evaluation of answer scripts during the examination is within the jurisdiction of the school. No parent or outsider has the right to review the answer script.
  • No pupil will be allowed to sit for the promotion examination if the attendance during the year is below 75%.

Office Guidelines:

  • There is no provision for re-assessment or promotion on a trial basis.
  • Students must not bring gifts for teachers on regular school days.
  • Please do not send cakes or any expensive gifts for any occasion. For any celebration, students must obtain permission from the school authorities before bringing any celebratory items.
  • Parents must inform the office in advance if they wish to meet a teacher.
  • Damaging school property is strictly prohibited, and will result in strict disciplinary action.
  • Fees must be paid in advance on or before the12th of each month. Failure to do so will result in a fine of Rs 100 per month.
  • Parents must note that the school reserves the right to Increase or decrease fees or revise the fee structure at any time, without prior notice.

Transfer Certificate

  • An advance application stating the reason for withdrawal along with the requisite fees upto the month of issuing transfer certificate and the T.C. charge equivalent to one month’s fee must be submitted in the school office at least a month before the intended withdrawal certificate.
  • Re-admission after a long break will not be a matter of claim. Special permission of the Principal will be essential.
